KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Most of the public vehicles in the Kathmandu Valley have failed the pollution test. On Friday, a team comprising members of the Department of Environment, the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division and the Department of Transport Management conducted pollution test of vehicles at Babarmahal in Kathmandu.

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: A plainclothes police team deployed on the basis of special information from the Victim Assistance Unit of the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) arrested a man with fake driving licenses on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 15: On December 24, 2019, a motorcycle was hit by a tipper truck at Gurjudhara along the Tribhuvan Highway. The accident killed bike rider Arjun Bahadur KC on the spot, while his son, who was pillion-riding, was severely injured. There were no traffic police along the highway and the truck was able to flee the scene.
