GORKHA, Oct 12: Locals have called for the development of the Manakamana Temple of Gorkha that has been recognized as a popular religious destination in the list of world heritage site.

Local residents protested against the decision of Guthi Sansthan to call for tenders to rent the Dharamshala which lies in front of the temple.

CHITWAN, Nov 27: Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd has said that it has carried a total of 13.92 million passengers to Manakamana Temple through cable car in 20 years. The company had started the cable car service from Kurintar in Dhading district to Manakamana Temple in Gorkha district on November 23, 1993.
