KATHMANDU, April 8: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against Saroj Bhattarai, the chief planning engineer of the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT), for allegedly buying land in his mother's name with bribe money.

LUMBINI, April 2: Finance Minister Dr. Yuba Raj Khatiwada has sought international support to develop the Lumbini Development Master Plan as the government lacks sufficient resources for the project. Khatiwada said that the government would call for support on behalf of the Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) to complete the master design within the next three years.
