KATHMANDU, Nov 22: UML Vice Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang is trailing behind Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka by 301 votes in Ilam-2.

Veteran folk singer duo Khadka Bahadur Budha Magar and Lilawati Budha Magar is all set for a musical event 'Yugal Sanjh' scheduled on April 12 at Rastriya Naach Ghar, Jamal. The duo has recorded 200 folk songs till now. They prefer authentic and local folk songs to sing. Moreover, Khadka is also well known musician and holds the title of Madal Samrat. In his musical career of 31 years, he has played madal for around 25 thousand recorded folk songs.

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Nepal cricket team captain Paras Khadka was a relieved man when his team survived a cliff-hanger match and won it by a run in the last ball against the Netherlands in VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen on Friday. It was the second and final match of the series. Nepal needed six runs to complete their maiden win in ODIs, when the skipper took the responsibility to deliver the last over.

Nepal will play their first-ever One-Day International game against the Netherlands on Wednesday (August 1) but Paras Khadka, their captain, believes this is just the beginning for his side.
