GENEVA, May 16: After an unusually acrimonious leadership battle, the International Organization for Migration holds an election Monday to determine whether its current chief or one of his deputies should run the UN agency.

With an aim to mark 70th anniversary of International Organization for Migration (IOM) along with the marking of 15th year since Nepal became Member State of IOM, IOM Nepal is organizing an art competition titled 'Nepal- Tales of Migration' with the theme of migration where there is no entry fee.

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: The European Union in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is launching a project on Mainstreaming Migration into International Cooperation and Development (MMICD) this week. This initiative is part of a follow-up of the previous assessment that found there was a need for improved coherence between migration, sustainable development, education and rural development.
