KATHMANDU, April 15: The CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) are set to hold a joint rally in Ilam-2 on Wednesday.

ILAM, April 13: All polling stations in Ilam-2 by-elections scheduled for April 27 have been classified as 'highly sensitive'. As the sole constituency in the country holding a by-election for members of the House of Representatives, all polling stations here have been placed on the highly sensitive list.

ILLAM, April 9: The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Ilam, has published the final list of candidates for the by-elections to be held in Ilam-2.

KATHMANDU, March 24: The CPN-UML has finalized its candidates for the upcoming by-elections scheduled for April 24.

ILAM, Nov 26: CPN-UML candidate Subash Chandra Nembang has been elected as a member of House of Representatives (HoR) from Ilam-2. Nembang was elected by defeating Nepali Congress(NC) candidate Dambar Bahadur Khadka with a thin margin of 114 votes.

ILAM, Nov 25: In the ongoing vote count of Ilam-2, CPN-UML Vice Chairman Subas Chandra Nembang is ahead of his closest rival by 1,765 votes.
