VARANASI, India, Feb 14, 2019: They arrive in battered cars, on crutches and sometimes on a stretcher barely able to breathe -- but salvation is close for thousands of Hindus who go to the holy city of Varanasi each year to die.

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: One of the famous Hindu festivals, Bala Chaturdashi, is being observed across the country today.

SRINAGAR, July 11: As the Indian government blamed separatist rebels Tuesday for gunning down seven Hindu pilgrims and wounding 19 more before fleeing into the night, Kashmiri rebel groups condemned the rare, deadly attack on civilians and insisted they had no part in it.
