KATHMANDU, March 11: The Gyalpo Lhosar, the cultural festival of the Sherpa community that falls on the Shukla Pratipada in the Nepali month of Falgun is being marked today by organizing different programs.

KATHMANDU, Feb 21: People from the Sherpa community are celebrating Gyalpo Lhosar ‘Tibetan New Year’ on the premises of the Boudhanath stupa. They perform ‘Kora’ around the Boudhanath Stupa in their cultural dress on the occasion of the Ghyalpo Lhosar.
