KATHMANDU, June 26: The power-sharing deal among the coalition partners in the Gandaki Provincial government has been finalized two weeks after the formation of a new government led by Nepali Congress (NC) leader Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel. The official announcement of the allocation of ministerial portfolios, however, has not been made public yet.
KATHMANDU, June 18: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel has won a vote of confidence as per Article 168 (6) of the Constitution of Nepal from the 59-member provincial assembly.

POKHARA,May 13: The opposition parties in Gandaki Province including the Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Centre), Rastriya Janamorcha and Janata Samajwadi Party have said that the reappointment of Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung as the chief executive of the province is ‘unconstitutional’.

POKHARA, June 22: An elderly man has tested positive for Covid-19 in Mustang. According to the Gandaki Province Health Directorate, an 83-year-old male from Gharapjhong Rural Municipality tested positive for the virus. Previously, this himalayan district had no record of the Covid-19 infection. However, after this senior citizen tested positive for Covid-19, the virus has now spread to all 11 districts in the province.
