KATHMANDU, Dec 22:  Lalitpur Patriots has won the third edition of  Everest Premier League (EPL-2018) by defeating Bhairahawa Gladiators by 14 runs in the final match played at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Dec  19: The former U-19 national cricket team all-rounder Yogendra Singh Karki kept his nerves to complete a tense chase of 109 runs by a wicket adding eight runs in the final five deliveries of the match with last batsman Lalit Rajbanshi to propel Lalitpur Patriots to its first Everest Premier League final against Kathmandu Kings XI.

KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Player-of-the-match Sunny Patel registered the best bowling figures of the Everest Premier League (EPL), helping Lalitpur Patriots finish on the top of the points table as the team defeated Bhairahawa Gladiators by six wickets in a group match played at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Sunday. Patriots bundled out Gladiators for 92 runs before chasing the target in 14.2 overs.

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Nepal national cricket team middle order batsman Dipendra Singh Airee smashed an unbeaten 54 runs from 46 deliveries to chase down the target of 130 runs in the 19th over against Pokhara Rhinos to secure Chitwan Tigers’ second win of the ongoing Everest Premier League (EPL) in Tribhuvan University international cricket ground in Kirtipur on Saturday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: The Nepal's all-rounder cricketer Shakti Prasad Gauchan retired from all forms of cricket after his team crashed out of the ongoing Everest Premier League (EPL) on Saturday. Gauchan-led Pokhara Rhinos' match against Chitwan Tigers at the Tribhuvan University international cricket ground in Kirtipur was his final match as a professional cricketer. Gauchan had retired from international cricket in July after playing for the national team of Nepal against the Netherlands.

Tomar propels Patriots on top of table

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Gaurav Tomar, the foreign batsman from India, smashed a breathtaking 82 runs with a strike rate of 200 propelling Lalitpur Patriots to second win in three games by eight wickets during the fifth match of the Everest Premier League against Pokhara Rhinos at Tribhuvan University international cricket ground in Kirtipur on Monday. Patriots have four points after three matches and are on top of the EPL points table.

KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Chitwan Tigers suffered another loss in a row after losing a match to Kathmandu Kings XI in the ongoing Everest Premier League (EPL-2018) on Monday.  After losing a toss, Chitwan Tigers got an invitation to bat first and set a target of 161 runs for Kathmandu Kings XI.

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Lalitpur Patriots have registered their first victory in the ongoing Everest Premier League (EPL-2018) here at Kirtipur on Sunday. Lalitpur Patriots managed to beat Chitwan Tigers by 11 runs in their second match. After winning the toss, Lalitpur Patriots elected to bat first and set the target of 144 runs for Chitwan Tigers on the second match of EPL.
