Sindhuli, March 7: After the attack of wild elephants started causing huge damage to various settlements in Sindhuli, the Division Forest Office, Sindhuli, has started looking for ways to minimize the damage caused by elephants.

JUMLA, Dec 5: The District Police Office, Jumla, has seized a tractor carrying herbs. The tractor (Bhe 2 Ta 1491), which was coming from Dolpa district to Jumla, was taken under control.

Leopard terrorizing village captured

BAGLUNG, Jan 4: A leopard which strayed into a human settlement has been captured. The wild beast had entered Kanle village, Kushmishera of Jaimini Municipality-1 in the district on Sunday morning, terrorizing the villagers.

SALYAN, Jan 4: A wildlife rescue centre has been established in the district for the protection of wounded and helpless animals.

KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Division Forest Office (DFO), Rasuwa, has instructed Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to stop transmission line construction work in forest areas of the district.
