KATHMANDU, July 26 : Nepal imported 4,050 units of electric cars worth Rs 11.84 billion in the last fiscal year.

KATHMANDU, May 24: Almost 3,000 electric vehicles have been imported during the first 10 months of the current fiscal year. According to the Department of Customs, 2,955 four-wheeled electric vehicles worth about Rs 8.5 billion were imported during the period from last mid-July to mid-May.

KATHMANDU, May 22: Foreign trade of the country has decreased by about Rs 311 billion compared to the last fiscal year. According to the Department of Customs, in the 10 months of the current fiscal year (up to April), trade has decreased by Rs 311 billion this year due to a decline in imports and exports. Total foreign trade has decreased by 17.54 percent compared to the corresponding period of last FY.

KATHMANDU, March 23: During the first eight months of the current Fiscal Year 2022/23, Nepal has imported goods worth one trillion rupees. According to the data of the Department of Customs, goods worth over 1 billion were exported, while the country imported goods worth Rs 1.38 trillion during the period.
