KATHMANDU, June 28: A writ petition against Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has been filed at the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court. Yuvraj Paudel filed the writ petition regarding the eligibility of Lamichhane's post as Member of Parliament (MP). In the said writ petition, it has been claimed that Lamichhane is unfit for the position of MP due to his involvement in the dual citizenship case and is not in accordance with the procedure.

KATHMANDU, Jan 6: The Supreme Court (SC) has refused to issue an interim order on a writ petition filed against Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane over his citizenship issue.
