Trans Nepal Freight Services JV to operate Chobhar Dry Port from December 15

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: Trans Nepal Freight Services JV, which was selected through a competitive process to operate the Chobhar Dry Port, has finalized an agreement with Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Board.

KATHMANDU, April 5: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today inaugurated the dry port at Chobhar in Kirtipur amid protests by the local people. Security in the area was beefed up “to prevent any untoward incident from happening.”
