TAPLEJUNG, March 17: Chinese workers engaged with the Tamor Hydropower Project in Taplejung have been frequently moving to their home and back to work at the construction site despite the government's announcement of travel restriction to China. The government has sealed all border points expect a few major ones in view of the coronavirus outbreak. The project officials have however claimed that there is no possibility of those workers spreading coronavirus.

POKHARA, March 11: Health officials of Gandaki Province have said that they have upped monitoring in settlements near project sites where Chinese nationals are working to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

RASUWA, Feb 6: The construction of dry port at the Rasuwagadhi border point has been affected due to shortage of labor. The construction was started in mid-November but the widespread outbreak of coronavirus in China has led to the shortage of Chinese workers.

POKHARA, Feb 2: 20 Chinese workers who have been working in the construction work of the Pokhara Regional International Airport have been stranded back home due to the widespread of coronavirus in China.
