KATHMANDU, August 1: In an alarming case, all beds at the Intensive Care Units (ICUs), High Dependency Units (HDUs), emergencies and wards of the hospitals in Kathmandu are once again full with COVID-19 patients once again.

KATHMANDU, May 12: After the government set quotas on oxygen cylinders to be provided to hospitals, various hospitals said they could not admit more COVID-19 patients. The problem arose after the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) set a daily quota of oxygen cylinders for hospitals, saying the demand for oxygen had increased across the country but the supply was not enough. The shortage of medical oxygen started at the hospitals after the CCMC decided to fix the quota on Sunday saying that it will provide oxygen to hospitals across the country based on the data of the Ministry of Health and Population.

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Two COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj died on Tuesday.

BHAKTAPUR, Aug 30: A person suffering from COVID-19 and being treated at home-isolation in the district died on Saturday night. He died at his own house in Dhudhpati of Bhaktapur Municipality-1.

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: As hospitals providing treatment are already overwhelmed with the rising number of COVID-19 cases, the government has decided to hospitalize only those COVID-19 patients, who have shown serious health complications.
