Capital of Province 1 to be scattered in various districts

BIRATNAGAR, April 6: In a bid to make government services accessible to the people living in all corners, Province 1 government is planning to fix its capital in a 40-kilometer area scattered in various districts. This area will cover certain parts of Biratnagar, Itahari, Gothgaun, Biratchowk, Dharan among others and will be called the 'Greater Birat Development Area'.
Curfew in Morang localities after tipper-truck kills child

BIRATNAGAR, Jan 29: Following the death of a girl who was mowed down by a tipper-truck at Sundar Haraincha-9 of Morang district on Monday morning, the District Administration Office imposed a curfew from 11 am to contain surging protests and agitations by the locals. The curfew was lifted at 8 pm.
