They have accused the people's representatives of procuring heavy equipment and starting their own business.

BANEPA, Sept 5: Area Police Office (APO), Banepa on Monday arrested an owner of a sweet shop on the charge of raping a teenager. Acting on a complaint filed by the victim, police arrested a 25-year-old man from ward 11 of Dhulikhel Municipality where he ran the sweet shop. He has been accused of raping one of his workers.
BANEPA, Nov 23: With growing number of pedestrians being hit by vehicles plying along the Araniko Highway in Banepa, road safety has become a major concern for the locals. Recently, two pedestrians lost their lives after being by vehicles along the Budol- Janagal section of the highway. The victims were Babu Bista, 57, of Janagal and another elderly man remains unidentified.
