CHITWAN, Oct 4: The Chitwan Banana Growers' Association has demanded that the government stop the import of Indian bananas. The association said in a statement that the Nepali farmers are at a loss due to the import of Indian bananas.

CHITWAN: Rajan Gautam, president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chitwan, inaugurated the Banana Cafe at Astha Chowk of Bharatpur on Wednesday. The cafe is a joint venture of banana traders Yagya Prasad Subedi 'Laxman', Meghanath Bhatta and Ramchandra Bhatt.
