11 people die of dengue in Bagmati

KATHMANDU, Sept 11: At least 11 people have died of dengue in Bagmati Province, according to the Health Directorate, Bagmati Province. The mortality figure includes four in Kathmandu, two each in Lalitpur and Sindhupalchok, and one each in Makawanpur, Sindhuli and Dhading.

KATHMANDU, JULY 4: In the first eight months of the current fiscal year, 115,057 vehicles have been added in Bagmati Province. According to the Bagmati Ministry of Transport, Labor and Employment, 96,527 two-wheelers and 18,530 four-wheelers were added during the period. According to the ministry, the total number of vehicles registered in Bagmati has reached 1.8 million by February this year.

MAKWANPUR, June 30: Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN (Maoist Center) have collected signatures of provincial assembly members of Bagmati Province against Rajendra Pandey, the CPN (Unified Socialist) leader who became the Chief Minister of the province on behalf of the ruling coalition. As per the agreement reached in the coalition, signatures have been collected to change the chief minister with the demand that the NC should lead the election government.
