KATHMANDU, March 10: One person died in an accident near Chundevi flyover in Bhaktapur along the Araniko Highway.

KAVRE, Sept 1: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has assured that there will not be any shortage of budget for the expansion of the Araniko Highway. The government is expanding the highway into six lanes.

In between of the deadly rocks and raging river, the Araniko Highway passes by a roadside town- the Liping Bazar. Once a vibrant commercial center, Liping Bazar nowadays looks lifeless. There is no movement in this town.
