GANDAKI, April 3: A total of 30,199 foreign tourists visited the Annapurna region in the month of March. This includes 14,668 tourists from South Asian countries and 15,531 tourists from other countries, according to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP).

MYAGDI, March 3: Three new trekking routes have been identified in Mustang to increase tourist arrivals as well as to prolong their stay.

MANANG, May 10: A huge number of tourists turned up to the Himalayan district Manang as of May 7 this year. A total of 8,220 tourists had visited the tourist district from January to May 7 in 2023.

KASKI, March 12: The municipalities within the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) have demanded that they be allowed to use the ACAP area.

LAMJUNG, Jan 16: A total of 15,900 foreign tourists enjoyed trekking in the Annapurna circuit in the year 2022. This included 10,364 men and 5,536 women.

MUSTANG, March 7: The Titi Lake in Mustang looks mesmerizing these days. Otherwise not so clean, this lake has received this new look after a massive cleanliness drive jointly launched by Nepal Army, locals and other stakeholders for the past few years. Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) took the initiative for the change.

LO-MANTHANG, Sept 8: Known as a virgin tourist destination until lately, Lo-manthing is being disfigured by a growing number of concrete houses. On the one hand, temperature rise in the recent years in the high altitudes has taken its toll on the ambiance of the place, while on the other hand, growing human activities have left it disturbed. According to stakeholders, Lo-manthang is fast losing its original beauty and form.

POKHARA, Sept 18: The capacity of hotels operating inside the Annapurna area is being expanded to address the increased flow of domestic as well as foreign tourists to the region.
