MANANG, Jan 17: A trekker has been found dead along the Annapurna Circuit in Manang. Korean tourist Johnsin, 53, was found dead, informed Chief of Annapurna Conservation Area Project Manang, Lekhnath Gautam.

LAMJUNG, Jan 16: A total of 15,900 foreign tourists enjoyed trekking in the Annapurna circuit in the year 2022. This included 10,364 men and 5,536 women.

LAMJUNG, June 13: The Annapurna Circuit, a trek within the mountain ranges of Nepal, has received a decreasing number of tourists lately, thanks to various factors like the onset of monsoon, road problems and off season for tourists.

KATHMANDU, Oct 12: The renowned travel site Lonely Planet has included the Annapurna Circuit of Nepal in the list of its 10 must-visit destinations.

Samde Sherpa vividly remembers walking along the Annapurna Circuit as a 15-year-old. And ironically, he didn’t like it very much. The year was 2004 and he was accompanying his uncle who was acting as a trekking guide to a French team. “It was too much walking for me back then,” he recalls. However, after he returned home from the trip, he felt this sense of peace and calm like never before. And so, he decided he would go back to the hills and mountains as an adult.

POKHARA, Feb 17: The trails in Annapurna Circuit has been closed due to worsening weather conditions in the recent weeks.

From 1400m to 5416m, this journey has quite an elevation. As I “last-minute” over packed my luggage for my dream trip – the Annapurna Circuit – I had little idea of what was coming next (all in a good way though). We (my family and I) left Kathmandu sometime in mid-October as the best time to walk the circuit is October-November and drove all the way up to Besisahar in Lamjung.
