Young man fatally stabbed in Janakpur, two arrested

JANAKPUR, April 8: A young man lost his life due to stabbing in Janakpur.

A 20-years-old Prince Mahaseth was fatally stabbed at Bishwakarma Chowk in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-4 on Monday afternoon, according to the police.

According to DSP Ranjan Awa of the District Police Office, Dhanusha, a gang fight broke out among a group of three to four people at Bishwakarma Chowk. During the altercation,  Mahaseth, a resident of Ekdara Rural Municipality of Mahottari, was stabbed. DSP Awa said that he died while being taken for treatment.

The police have arrested two individuals suspected of involvement in the incident. Roshan Das, a resident of Shantinagar in Janakpur, and Arjun Shah, whose address has not been disclosed, are currently under investigation.
