Som Bahadur Malla scored the goal as he got space to head a corner kick taken by Dinesh Karki. "Our defenders could not mark Malla and gave him space for the header. The only mistake cost us dearly," said African United Captatin Ezee Collins, who couldn´t play the final match as he picked injury during the semifinal match against Mega Three Star Club.
Malla was awarded Shalimar man-of-the-match for his winning goal in the final. Yeti Himalayan´s Ganesh Khadka, who scored two goals during the tournament, received the highest scorer award. Binay Shrestha of the winning side was awarded the best player of the tournament trophy.
