Yadav's body recovered after a week

KATHMANDU, Feb 16:  Santosh Yadav, the son of Irrigation Secretary Ramanand Prasad Yadav, who was killed after the jeep plunged into the Trishuli River on February 10, has been recovered a week after the incident in Benighat, Rorang Rural Municipality-5 on the bank of the Trishuli River.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Santosh Yadav, the son of Irrigation Secretary Ramanand Prasad Yadav, who was killed after the jeep plunged into the Trishuli River on February 10, has been recovered a week after the incident in Benighat, Rorang Rural Municipality-5 on the bank of the Trishuli River.


The dead bodies of secretary Yadav and Unnati Gupta, his friend's daughter, were recovered on the day of the accident, the missing 22-year-old Santosh has been found today.

After the continuous search efforts by a joint team from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, the dead body has been recovered on Friday.


The accident had taken place at Salanghat of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-4 in Dhading along the Prithivi Highway.


The ill-fated jeep driven by Secretary Yadav, which had left Kapilvastu on Friday evening, had skidded off the road and plunged into the Trishuli River early on Saturday.
