Woman dies while trespassing army's security perimeter

KATHMANDU, Feb 3: One woman died and another one was injured Tuesday afternoon when an explosive laid for the security of a Nepal Army (NA) base camp at Khumel of Rolpa district went off after the two "trespassed" the security perimeter.



A statement issued by the NA´s Directorate of Public Relations said Kumari Gharti Magar, 26, died and Chameli Rokka, 27, was injured in the incident that happened at about 3:30 pm.



The NA has prayed that the departed soul may rest in peace and has wished speedy recovery for the injured.
