Life Back On Track
Though the incident occurred on Saturday evening, police were informed only on Sunday as Kalinjor is a remote area. Ward chief Pakhrin learnt about the incident only after the locals informed him on Sunday morning. According to Area Police Office (APO), Kesharjung, the dead body has been sent to Malangawa-based District Hospital for postmortem.
Police have confiscated an axe from the incident site. Police Inspector Gaurav Mahat says it took them six hours to bring the dead body to the hospital as they had to reach the incident site via river.
