KATHMANDU, June 22: With 535 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, Nepal's Covid-19 tally has reached 9561.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population Jageshwar Gautam told a daily media briefing that 461 males and 74 females tested positive for coronavirus at various labs in the past 24 hours. "With this, the number of Covid-19 cases in the country has risen to 9561," he said.

According to him, 76 districts have been affected by the novel coronavirus disease as of today. "6198 persons underwent PCR tests and 5929 persons tested for coronavirus through the RDT method across the country today," he said.
As of today, 181,371 persons have undergone PCR tests while 268,103 persons have been tested through the RDT method throughout the country.
90730 persons are currently staying at quarantine facilities in the country. "7789 persons are undergoing treatment in isolation centers at various hospitals," Gautam said.
As of today, 2,142 persons who were earlier diagnosed with Covid-19 have been discharged after recovery, the spokesperson added.
