KATHMANDU, Feb 25: There is a possibility of snowfall in the high-hilly and mountainous regions of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is currently a partial influence of the westerly low pressure system in Nepal.
At present, the weather is mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country, including Koshi and Madhesh provinces.
Light snowfall likely in mountainous regions
Similarly, the weather will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces this afternoon. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Gandaki, Karnali and Koshi provinces.
Tonight the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki Province.
