KATHMANDU, June 1: The weather is expected to improve gradually from Tuesday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
Rainfall is taking place at most places across the country including the Kathmandu Valley due to the influence of the westerly wind and the low-pressure front that had formed near the eastern region.
Weather expected to improve gradually from Friday
The Division stated that the weather will witness improvement from Tuesday as these two weather conditions have started to peter out.
At present, generally cloudy conditions prevail throughout the country and rainfall has been taking place at some places of Province 5, Gandaki Province and Bagmati Province. The weather will remain generally cloudy in the central and western parts as well as in the eastern part of the country towards Monday afternoon with chances of rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places of the western region.
On Tuesday, the weather will be generally cloudy in the eastern, central and western hilly regions, and generally clear in the rest of the country.
On Wednesday, weather in the hilly region will be generally cloudy in the hilly and normally clear in the rest of the regions. As per the latest weather update shared by the Division, the Kathmandu Valley received 13.8 millimetres rainfall today.
