KATHMANDU, Feb 20: A voting has started to elect the leadership of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) at Bhrikutimandap in the Capital on Monday.
According to Rajaram Shrestha, the spokesperson of the RPP, the voting began at 12 pm in the general convention.
Kamal Thapa and Pradeep Bikram Rana are vying for the post of party chairman.
Voting underway to elect FNJ’s new leadership
According to Shrestha, 3,300 voters will elect 98 central committee (CC) members. As many as 363 voters are fighting for the CC members.
Among them 40 people will be elected under the open category, seven from inclusion, 9 from Adivasi Janajati, 2 from Muslim community, 1 from Karnali, 1 from Tharu community, 2 from backward region (1 male, 1 female) and 2 from Diaspora).
