Diana Armstrong from Minnesota, USA, has set the Guinness World Record for the longest fingernails on a pair of hands (female) and the longest fingernails on a pair of hands ever (female).
According to reports, Armstrong’s fingernail’s combined length measures 1,306.58cm (42 feet and 10.4 inch) according to the data of March 13, 2022.
According to a report by Guinness World Records, Diana Armstrong’s right thumbnail is the longest of all her nails, which measures 138.94 cm (4 feet, 6.7inch) and her shortest nail, left pinky fingernail measures 109.2 cm (3 feet, 7 inch) long.
Diana has been growing her fingernails for over 25 years. She last cut her nails in 1997. But shortly after that, her 16 year old daughter Latisha, who used to polish and filed Diana Armstrong’s nails, passed away. So, as a tribute to Latisha, Diana Armstrong vowed never to cut her nails again.
Previously, the record for the longest fingernails on a pair of hands (female) was set by Ayanna Williams and the record for the longest fingernails on a pair of hands ever (female) was set by Lee Redmond in 2008.
