KATHMANDU, May 24: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 136.05, while the selling rate is Rs 136.65.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 154.51, and the selling rate is Rs 155.19. One British pound sterling buys at Rs 183.67 and sells at Rs 184.48. The Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 164.85 and a selling rate of Rs 165.58.
For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 87.94 and the selling rate is Rs 88.33. The Canadian dollar buys at Rs 98.50 and sells at Rs 98.93. The Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 105.81 and a selling rate of Rs 106.28.
US dollar selling at Rs 137.91, euro at Rs 155.96

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.50, with a selling rate of Rs 9.54. One Chinese yuan buys at Rs 18.94 and sells at Rs 19.02. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 36.27 and a selling rate of Rs 36.43, while the Qatari riyal buys at Rs 37.33 and sells at Rs 37.49.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht buys at Rs 4.17 and sells at Rs 4.19. The UAE dirham has a buying rate of Rs 37.04 and a selling rate of Rs 37.20. The Malaysian ringgit buys at Rs 32.16 and sells at Rs 32.30. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 9.94 and the selling rate is Rs 9.98. The Swedish krona has a buying rate of Rs 14.28 and a selling rate of Rs 14.34, while the Danish krone buys at Rs 20.71 and sells at Rs 20.80.
The central bank has set the buying rate for the Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.37 and the selling rate at Rs 17.45. The Kuwaiti dinar buys at Rs 443.61 and sells at Rs 445.56. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 360.85 and a selling rate of Rs 362.44. The Omani riyal buys at Rs 353.40 and sells at Rs 354.96.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it can revise these exchange rates anytime as per the requirement. It also mentioned that commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and updated rates will be available on the central bank's website.
