KATHMANDU, May 25: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 136.05 and the selling rate at Rs 136.65.
Similarly, the euro is being traded at Rs 154.51 (buying) and Rs 155.19 (selling), while the pound sterling stands at Rs 183.67 and Rs 184.48, respectively. The buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 164.85, and the selling rate is Rs 165.58.
The Australian dollar is trading at Rs 87.94 (buying) and Rs 88.33 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 98.50 and Rs 98.93, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 105.81 and Rs 106.28.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is Rs 9.50 and the selling rate is Rs 9.54. The Chinese yuan is trading at Rs 18.94 (buying) and Rs 19.02 (selling). Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 36.27 and Rs 36.43, while the Qatari riyal is set at Rs 37.33 and Rs 37.49.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.17 (buying) and Rs 4.19 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs 37.04 and Rs 37.20, the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 32.16 and Rs 32.30, the South Korean won (per 100) at Rs 9.94 and Rs 9.98, the Swedish krona at Rs 14.28 and Rs 14.34, and the Danish krone at Rs 20.71 and Rs 20.80.
The Hong Kong dollar is trading at Rs 17.37 (buying) and Rs 17.45 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 443.61 and Rs 445.56, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 360.85 and Rs 362.44, and the Omani riyal at Rs 353.40 and Rs 354.96.
The rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling). The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised as necessary and that commercial banks may set different rates.
