US Dollar priced Rs 139.22 for selling

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today. According to the central bank, one US dollar is valued at Rs 138.62 for purchase and Rs 139.22 for sale.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today. According to the central bank, one US dollar is valued at Rs 138.62 for purchase and Rs 139.22 for sale.


One euro is exchanged at Rs 145.07 when bought and Rs 145.70 when sold. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is worth Rs 174.40 when purchased and Rs 175.15 when sold. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 153.67 for buying and Rs 154.34 for selling.

For other currencies, one Australian dollar is priced at Rs 87.82 for buying and Rs 88.20 for selling, while one Canadian dollar is traded at Rs 97.71 for purchase and Rs 98.14 for sale. The Singapore dollar is set at Rs 103.30 for buying and Rs 103.75 for selling.Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are exchanged at Rs 9.08 when bought and Rs 9.12 when sold. One Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 19.08 for buying and Rs 19.16 for selling. The Saudi riyal stands at Rs 36.96 when purchased and Rs 37.12 when sold, while the Qatari riyal is traded at Rs 38.02 for buying and Rs 38.19 for selling.


The Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.12 for buying and Rs 4.13 for selling. The UAE dirham is exchanged at Rs 37.74 when bought and Rs 37.90 when sold. The Malaysian ringgit is valued at Rs 31.26 for purchase and Rs 31.39 for sale. Meanwhile, 100 South Korean won are traded at Rs 9.62 for buying and Rs 9.66 for selling. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 12.91 for purchase and Rs 12.97 for sale, whereas the Danish krone is exchanged at Rs 19.45 when bought and Rs 19.53 when sold.


For other major currencies, one Hong Kong dollar is traded at Rs 17.81 for buying and Rs 17.89 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 449.50 when purchased and Rs 451.44 when sold. The Bahraini dinar is exchanged at Rs 367.78 for buying and Rs 369.37 for selling, while the Omani rial is valued at Rs 360.04 for buying and Rs 361.60 for selling.


Meanwhile, 100 Indian rupees are priced at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised as needed, and commercial banks may set different rates. The latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
