MELAMCHI (Sindhupalchowk), Aug 14: An unidentified market porter's dead body was found at the bank of Indrawati river at Baunepati of Melamchi Municipality – 8 this morning.
The body of the deceased, assumed to be around 40 to 45 years in age, was sent to Melamchi Primary Health Centre for an autopsy.
The local residents came across the body of the unidentified man locally known as Karki at the river bank and informed the police. The man had been making a living as a market porter at Melamchi Bazaar.
Area Police Office-Melamchi Inspector, Niroj Dangi, suspected that the man could have been swept away by the river in a drunken state. RSS
