Unidentified group torches government vehicle in Pokhara

POKHARA, Feb 2: An unidentified group set a government vehicle on fire in Kaski district on Saturday morning.

POKHARA, Feb 2: An unidentified group set a government vehicle on fire in Kaski district on Saturday morning.


Chief of the Kaski District Police Office Om Rana told Republica Online that the pickup van (Ba 1 Jha 5879) belonging to Pokhara Metropolitan City was torched by the unidentified group.

The police have suspected that the vehicle was torched by the cadres of Nepal Student Union. "We have launched probe into the incident," Rana said.


Resham Hamal, a leader of NSU Prithvi Narayan Campus chapter, said that they have banned the government vehicles from plying the roads as per the instruction of central committee of the party.
