KATHMANDU, April 28: UN Women Nepal and Rakuten Viber, the company behind the messenger and calling app Viber, have forged a partnership to use Viber 'community' as an innovative platform to reach out to communities in order to promote Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (GEWE).
Recognizing the need to use the platform to share information and connect with Viber users from Nepal and beyond, the partnership includes the launching of a Viber ‘community’ and two sticker packages, read a press release.
The Viber community serves as an online space that brings people together based on their interests.
