Leaders of nearly two dozen districts including 20 Tarai districts have gathered at Sauraha.Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the gathering after a while. It is expected that the gathering should formulate party's policy regarding the concerns of Tarai-Madhes and find out a common solution over the dispute in delineation of the federal states.
Some 275 delegates including party office-bearers, central committee members and lawmakers are also participating in the gathering, said UML Publicity Department Chief, Yogesh Bhattarai.
Party General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel, Deputy General Secretary Ghanshyam Bhusal, and Secretary Pradeep Gyawali are scheduled to present three separate working papers in the gathering.
Leaders of Tarai-Madhes would share the situation of Tarai-Madhes in the two-day gathering.
Chitwan Declaration along with conclusion of gathering would be released on Wednesday, added Bhattarai. RSS
