KATHMANDU, Dec. 23: CPN (UML) secretary Pradip Gyawali has said that a new powerful political party would be formed after the unification of the CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Center).
At an interaction here today, Gyawali said the two parties would merge soon adding that the left unity has been approved by the people.

He added unity of two parties is not just a concern of UML Chairman KP Oli and Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' rather it was a concern of general public.
The UML Secretary said that contribution and dignity of both the parties would be taken into consideration during party unification bid and qualifications of both the parties' leaders would be managed best possible.
"Both Oli and Dahal would take leadership after the party unification," he added. On the occasion, Gyawali added that the incumbent government should immediately quit even to respect the people's verdict.
