KATHMANDU, Feb 21: About two dozen leaders and cadres of Nepali Congress and (CPN-UML) joined the CPN (Maoist Center) party here today. The newcomers were welcomed to the party by Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' at a program in the capital.

On the occasion, Chairman Dahal said that there was a wave of people from different parties coming to his party.
Among those who have entered the party are CPN-UML leaders and cadres including Kameshwar Prasad Sah Kanu, a candidate for the post of ward chairman and executive member of Maulapur Municipality in Rautahat district. Similarly, Nepali Congress activist Jayaraj Bhatt, businessman Bishnu Bhatt and Binod Prasad Bhatt joined the Maoist Center from the Far Western region.
