In an interaction with businessmen, experts, and representatives of finance and cooperative sectors close to the party at Paris Danda on Sunday party chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said, “Remain prepared for the party´s production and construction campaign with the same spirit we fought the 10-year war. Dahal also said that the party would introduce the programs in accordance with the suggestions from experts. [break]
The party´s Hetauda general convention held in February had decided to manage the “whole-timers” by employing them in production and construction projects. The party had announced conclusion of a political revolution and that it would launch an economic revolution.
While many of the cadres are struggling to make ends meet, the top Maoist leadership has turned into a “new elite” within the party. The party, however, has not introduced any program to manage its cadres. Moreover, the honest cadres were not given any responsibility in the party.
“We can learn only after we get engaged in production programs,” said Dahal, adding that the programs would focus on tourism and hydropower development. Participants at the interaction suggested to the party leadership to introduce programs related with agriculture, hydropower and tourism.
“We should focus all our efforts on production and construction,” said Dahal. He also said that Nepali people are not only laborious but are also honest and resilient.
“Once we introduce our programs, many Nepali migrant workers, would return home,” claimed Dahal.
