Two stranded Nepalis in Cambodia rescued

The Embassy of Nepal in Bangkok, Thailand rescued and repatriated two Nepali citizens who had been stranded in Cambodia for a long time. The embassy brought a man and a woman back to Nepal on Friday.

KATHMANDU, May 24: The Embassy of Nepal in Thailand rescued and repatriated two Nepali citizens who had been stranded in Cambodia for a long time. The embassy brought a man and a woman back to Nepal on Friday.

The embassy has once again urged individuals not to pursue foreign employment in countries like Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand under false promises of quick and high earnings. It stressed the importance of obtaining labor permits in line with government standards before seeking employment abroad. The embassy also requested the media and civil society to help spread this message.
