Two left parties announce merger

KATHMANDU, March 31: Janamorcha Nepal and Revolutionary Communist Party, which was formed after the split from the UCPN (Maoists), have announced their merger on Sunday.



Organizing a press conference at Reporters´ Club Nepal, the two parties have demanded annulment of the 11-point agreement among four major political forces that paved way for the formation of Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi-led government. [break]



They have also announced to jointly boycott the election process. Among other things, the two parties have alleged that four major parties had decided to provide citizenship certificates to non-Nepalis and trying to transform Nepal into Fizi.
