Prabesh Kumar Yadav of Parsa and an unidentified pillion rider died on the spot when the bus (Na 3 Kha 6156) coming to Pathlaiya from Hetauda hit the motorcycle (Na 12 Pa 4180).
Central Regional Traffic Police Office, Pathlaiya said three passengers of the bus were also injured after the bus veered off the road losing control.
In an yet another incident, nine passengers were injured when a bus (Na 3 Kha 5900) heading to Kathmandu from Kakarbhitta collided with a truck (Na 3 Kha 7055) at Bharatgunj, Bara around 4:30 on Saturday morning.
Among the injured, three passengers Ramesh KC (31) of Bhimeshwar-5, Dolakha, Kuber Pokharel (23) of Damak, Jhapa, and Mahendra Kafle (23) of Dhankuta are reported to be in critical condition, the police informed.
They have been taken to Kathmandu for treatment.
