Chet Narayan Bhattarai, 35, of Butwal-3 and his pillion-riding cousin Punya Prasad Bhusal, 30, of Beulibas-3, Parbat, were killed when the speeding truck (Na 3 Kha 4120) lost control and hit the motorcycle (Lu 6 Pa 5626) head on.
Bhusal died on the spot while Bhattarai breathed his last while being rushed to Mission Hospital, Tansen for treatment.
Police have taken the truck and its driver under control.
