Two killed, 13 injured in Dadeldhura jeep accident

DADELDHURA, Nov 17 : Two persons died on the spot and 13 others sustained injuries on Saturday morning when a passenger jeep met with an accident in Dadeldhura.

The incident occured when the ill-fated jeep (Ma 1 Ja 180) en-route to Dadeldhura district headquaters from Bhageswor Rural Municipality veered off the highway and fell some 300 meters down at Kulan-4, according to police.

DSP Dambar KC told Republica Online that the deceased have been identified as 27-year-old Dharma Singh Madai, and Dipendra Shahi, aged 45.

The injured have been taken to Dadeldhura sub-regional hospital for further treatement.
