Two gold medals for Nepal

KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Nepal had secured third position in 36th World Championship Chanbhara competition recently concluded in Tokyo of Japan.



In the competition, Nepal bagged two gold medals, five silver medals and four bronze medals.[break]



Twenty-seven countries including Japan, Nepal, Korea, India, Maxico and Egypt had participated in the event, where Japan and Egypt stood first and second.



Japan hosts the competition internationally every year where youths, children and elderly people can participate in the programme. This is Nepal´s second participation.



Kaldip Rai and Dev Raj Thapa are Nepal´s gold medal winners.
