Two girls commit suicide by hanging in Mahottari

GAUSHALA, June 8: Two girls committed suicide in separate areas in Mahottari district last night.Nitu Kumari Thakur, 18, of Simardahi VDC-7 and Mantoriya Devi, 16, of Banauli Danauli VDC-1 in the district took their lives by hanging themselves in their sleeping rooms, Deputy Superintendent of Police of Mahottari Lokendra Shrestha said.

Families of both the teenagers have said that the reasons behind the deaths were not known. DSP Shrestha said investigations have been started into the cases. RSS
